From western Montgomery County, proceed south on Connecticut Avenue, past Chevy Chase Circle into the District of Columbia. There is a traffic signal at Albemarle, followed shortly thereafter by another at Windom. One block later, at the T-intersection of Connecticut and Veazey, turn left and proceed for one block. Free short-term visitor parking is available in the circle in front of VNNC.
From eastern Montgomery County, proceed south on Georgia Avenue to 16th St. Continue south on 16th St. into the District of Columbia. Turn right at Military Road westbound. Drive through Rock Creek Park to Nebraska Avenue. Turn left on Nebraska, and shortly thereafter, turn left again on Connecticut. Continue south on Connecticut. There is a traffic signal at Albemarle, followed shortly thereafter by another at Windom. One block later, at the T-intersection of Connecticut and Veazey, turn left and proceed for one block. Free short-term visitor parking is available in the circle in front of Van Ness North. |
From northern Prince George's County - Take the Baltimore-Washington Parkway (U.S. 50) to D.C. Continue on U.S. 50, New York Ave., to Florida Avenue. Turn right on Florida. Florida will terminate at U St. Continue west on U St., and one mile later turn left on Florida (it's not as confusing as it sounds!). A few blocks later, turn right on Connecticut Ave. At Upton street you will see a large glass and steel building looking something like an alien spacecraft, on your left, set in a large park. This is Intelsat headquarters. Two blocks later, at the T-intersection of Connecticut and Veazey, turn right and proceed for one block. From southern Prince George's County - Take Suitland Pkway or Indian Head Hwy north to I-295. Continue north on I-295 across the 11th st. bridge. Take I-395 north to Massachusetts Ave. exit. Turn left on Mass Ave. At DuPont Circle turn right on Connecticut Ave. At Upton street you will see a large glass and steel building looking something like an alien spacecraft, on your left, set in a large park.
